Lynch named as Hull captain

Hull will be captained in 2012 by propAndy Lynch, the club has announced.

Lynch, 32, signed from Bradford in the close season from an undisclosed fee, and was announced as the new skipper at a fans forum on Wednesday night.

His vice captain will be long-serving half-backRichard Horne.

The Airlie Birds were captained last season byCraig Fitzgibbon, who hung up his boots at the end of the season.
