Three quickfire second half tries saw Salford send Bradford crashing to their second league defeat in a week at The Willows.

In a tight game,Paul Sykesclaimed the only score of the first half, to give the Bulls a slender 4-0 advantage at the break.

But a burst of tries in a ten minute spell ultimately won Salford the match. The excellentRichie Mylerbroke the defensive line and sentStuart Littlerover the try line with a lovely inside ball, andJon Wilshere‘s conversion edged the Reds in front.

A mistake by experienced campaignerSteve Menziesgave Salford the ball, and youngsterLuke Adamsonhanded off two defenders before findingMark Henrywho rounded Bradford’s former Salford full-backMichael Platt, with Wilshere’s conversion increasing Salford’s advantage.

And just two minutes later, 19-year-old Myler sent Adamson crashing over the line to give the home side breathing space.

Bradford hit back and clawed their way back in the game with ten minutes to go. Long passing across the field created space and Sykes found the gap for his second try.

But it wasn’t enough for the Bulls, who have now been leapfrogged by Salford in to 11th place in theSuper Leaguetable.
