Dewsbury and Hunslet swap half-backs

Reece Dean

Dewsbury have signed Hunslet half-back Reece Dean for the rest of the season, with Lewis Heckford going the other way.

The Rams have brought in Dean and Luke Nelmes for the rest of 2019.

Hull FC academy product Dean arrives at the Tetley’s Stadium as part of a loan-swap deal, with former Wigan youngster Heckford joining League 1 outfit Hunslet.

Nelmes arrives at the Tetley’s Stadium after previously enjoying spells with Halifax and Oldham.

Tom Halliday has left Dewsbury for Doncaster while Danny King has gone on loan to York City Knights until the end of the season.
